Cali Blu
The Calico kitten pictured below was a feral kitten that my wife and I found meowing in a storm drain one evening after dinner. She was about five weeks old when we found her. We had the pleasure of her company in our home for almost seven weeks until she found her forever home. After a few months had passed since her adoption, my wife asked me to communicate with Cali Blu to see how she was doing and if she liked her new home. I started out by asking her if she remembered me and she said, "Yes, you used to sing to me." This was true. On the way to the vet's office with Cali Blu I would sing to her to keep her calm. I then asked her if she liked her new home and she said, "Yes, I'm a big kitty now and I rule." She then proceeded to send me images of the interior of her new home. I later confirmed what Cali Blu had shown me with my wife since she had been to the house prior to the family being approved for her adoption. I then asked her if there was anything else she wanted to tell me and she said that there wasn't. So, I thanked her for her time and ended our communication.
